Skutt Kiln Patch is a ready-to-use refractory repair material designed for sealing small cracks, chips, and surface wear on the interior firebrick of electric kilns. Unlike kiln cement, Kiln Patch is formulated with fine refractory particles and binding agents that make it ideal for surface-level touch-ups and cosmetic repairs rather than deep bonding. It’s perfect for maintaining a smooth, even interior surface, helping extend the life and performance of your kiln.

Directions for Use:

Clean the damaged area to remove loose dust or debris.

Stir contents before use for a smooth consistency.

Apply a thin, even layer over cracks or chipped surfaces with a spatula or brush.

Allow to air-dry for 24 hours before firing the kiln.

For deeper areas, apply in multiple thin coats, allowing each layer to dry between applications.

Kiln Patch is intended for minor surface repairs only. For structural bonding or securing loose bricks, use Skutt Kiln Cement.
