Skutt Kiln Cement is a specially formulated, high-temperature refractory compound designed for repairing cracks, chips, and gaps in firebrick kiln interiors. It’s ideal for sealing minor damage in kiln walls, floors, lids, or sections where bricks have separated over time due to heat expansion or movement.

Directions for Use:

Clean the area to remove dust or loose debris.

Mix the cement thoroughly before applying. Add a small amount of water if needed for smoother consistency.

Apply with a putty knife or spatula into cracks or between bricks.

Allow to air-dry completely (typically 24 hours) before firing the kiln.

For deeper repairs, apply in thin layers, allowing each to dry before adding more.
