In addition to providing even firings, these kiln shelves will hold up over time. The holes, drilled with a diamond bit after they're manufactured, help trap any hairline cracks that may emerge and prevent them from spreading. Heat Thru shelves are also lighter in weight, making it easier on your body when loading your kiln.
