Defective Bisque Reporting Policy
Purpose
To ensure quick, consistent resolution when bisque items arrive damaged or defective.
Eligibility
- Timeframe: Reports must be submitted within 6 weeks of the invoice date. Claims beyond this window cannot be processed.
- Coverage: Manufacturing defects or items damaged in transit at delivery.
- Condition: Items must be unfired and unpainted. (Fired/altered items are not eligible.)
How to Report (2 Simple Steps)
- Complete the Defective Bisque Form (see template below).
- Email the form (and photos) to orders@ceramicarts.com with subject line Defective Claim Form
Resolution
- Approved claims are typically resolved within 24 hours and a credit will be applied to your next order.
- We may request additional photos or, in rare cases, a return. Do not discard defective items until instructed.
Exclusions
- Claims submitted after 6 weeks from invoice date
- Items that have been fired, glazed, painted, or altered
We reserve the right to audit claims from time to time.
Please mark on the bill of lading “Damaged Shipment”.
